I’ve had this idea stuck in my head for years.
What would happen if you took a whimsical version of scouting for grown-ups and the heart of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, mixed them together, and turned it into a society you could join?
In a world that often traps us behind our screens, we need more reasons to gather. More excuses to make things with our hands. More permission to be beginners again. More places we can feel safely seen and celebrated.
That’s what The Frolic & Forage Society is about.
In 3 days, 1 million+ people have seen the posts I shared about this on my socials. Overnight it is becoming a movement.
At the heart of what we do are four simple ideas.
Make. Create with your hands.
Explore. Follow your curiosity.
Gather. Build meaningful community.
Grow. Celebrate becoming.
I'm working hard to turn this Substack into the most magical clubhouse you can imagine.
A place that helps you gather with people in your local community, connect with kindred spirits around the world, and rediscover the joy of making, exploring, and celebrating together.

Joining the Frolic & Forage Society is completely free.
You can participate in the community, start an independent local troop, and enjoy most society resources without paying a thing.
Share Frolic and Forage with your friends. It helps us so much and is absolutely free.
If you are able and would like to support what we’re building, a Supporting Membership is available for $5/month or $50/year.
Supporting Members receive a few extra benefits, like our quarterly seasonal gathering guides included, but belonging isn’t something we wanted to restrict behind a paywall.
Everything included in the Supporting Membership will also be available individually in our Market once that gets set up. But right now, the best way to support us financially is through a paid membership (subscription).
We also have a Sustaining Membership for those who want to help us get established and keep growing.
If you can contribute us in this way, consider upgrading to become a Supporting or Sustaining member. But there is no obligation to do so.
